On 2/16/2010 at approximately 1015 hrs the Pittsville Fire Dept was alerted for a Mvc w/ injury at the intersection of WB Ocean Gateway @ Sixty Foot Rd. Engine 707 responded w/ 718(G.Bratten), Rescue 7 w/ 741(T.Farlow) Pittsville EMS and Traffic control units responded as well. Upon arrival, 718 established command and confirmed a vehicle well involved. It was determined that all patients were out of the vehicles prior to arrival and had been relocated to a near by parking lot. The crew from Eng 707 stretched the 1 1/2 preconeccted bumper line and extinguished the fire while PIttsville EMS provided patient care. An additional EMS unit was requested from sta 6(Parsonsburg). Pittsville/Parsonsburg EMS units transported (1) priority two patient each to PRMC. Traffic control unit detoured traffic for the incident. The scene was relinquished to MSP and Fire units returned to quarters.
