On March 8th 2010 at approx. 0806hrs Stations 7(Pittsville), 6 (Parsonsburg), and 11 (Powellville) were alerted for a reported house fire on Rohm rd.  Upon arrival of Engine Tanker 703 a size up was given of smoke showing from side "C" of a single story wood frame dwelling. ET 703 laid a 5" supply line up the driveway and a 1.5" pre-connect bumper line was pulled. Fire was contained to the exterior side of the house. Division 1 led by 723(D.Hearn)checked for extension into the house and had the crew from Eng 605 set up PPV for smoke removal. Division 2 led by 617(E.Tyler)checked for extension into the attic and removed insulation that had been compromised by fire threw the vented soffit. Situation was placed under control at approximately 0825hrs. Units cleared at 0904hrs. Units on scene were ET 703, Eng 707, Truck 7, A-7, Rescue 7, Brush 7, Eng 605, Tanker 608, Eng 1103, Tanker 1101, Brush 1105. Command was held by 718, Operations by Deputy 7, Division 1 by 723, Division 2 by 617.Station 11 units held on scene for cover up.
